Bikes -
Buying a new bike can be a big investment, so it's important to choose the right style and size for you. Think about the type of riding you'll use the bike for most of the time. There are a handful of ways to measure frames depending on the bike style. Here are the simplest and most popular methods.
And here's a handy
size chart for choosing the correct frame size for you.

We offer a free fitting service, to help make sure you get the match made in heaven.

Clothes - This is an important area that many people overlook. If you cycle more than a couple of miles a day, it's worth investing in proper cycling clothes. They're designed to reduce wind lag and prevent you getting hot and sweaty. Here's a few
size charts to help you choose the right style and fit for you.

Helmets - Helmets are made from expanded foam polystyrene, covered with a moulded hard plastic shell. It's crucial that your helmet fits properly if it's going to offer any protection. We offer a FREE fitting service with every new helmet, to make sure it provide maximum safety and comfort. If you're not sure whether your existing helmet fits properly, we'll be happy to check and adjust it for you.
Helmets are generally measured in centimeters. This
size chart will help ensure the correct fit.

Lights - As with all road vehicles, bicycle lighting is a legal requirement during the hours of darkness.
It's essential that you fit proper lights to your bike as they also provide an extra safety precaution for daytime riding and when riding in rain, fog or at sunset. The law states that you must have a white front light and a red rear light as well as a red rear reflector. Lights are measured in Lumens - the higher the lumens, the brighter the light. It's worth taking a few minutes every week to clean the lenses and check the bulb(s) and batteries.
